Asta later observes Ichika gazing at him from where he is lying. She appears to be 24 years old, and Asta states he wrongly assumed she was close to his own age. Asta clarifies that he implies youthful when Ichika wonders whether he meant that she appears immature. She then reveals that Ryuya requested her to take care of him. The pair then discuss Ryuya, and Ichika remarks that Ryuya is a very busy man who helps to stabilize the government of the state.
Ichika claims that despite her dislike for him, she will put up with him because of his loyalty to Ryuya. She goes on to say that Ryuya has supported her. Asta begins to explain to her how important Captain Yami is to him after listening to Ichika’s incident. He states that when his ship suffered damage, he arrived at the Clover Kingdom.
