DanMachi series season 5 is not yet publicly confirmed by either J.C. Staff or Sentai Filmworks in Japan but there’s still a good chance that anime will return with another adventure.

This modern anime typically comes down to two factors, the availability of the source material and the popularity of wider franchises.
Episode 22nd of season 4 is now expected to adapt up until the ending of volume 15 of the light novel, which has been released domestically in early 2019 in Japan. As of March 2023, there are a total of 18 complete volumes of DanMachi light novel series which have been published in Japanese.
Based on the present pacing of the anime series, this means there is not enough source material available for the next 12-episode season straight away. DanMachi season 5th could be premiering in January 2024 and have a 22-episode or the two-part broadcast return could be pushed to next year’s Spring or Summer depending on the material.
