The news was posted on the official DBD Twitter page, but there wasn’t much else said about what would happen on the day.

Before the new update comes out on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch, more information about when it will come out is likely to be shared.

From what has been said so far, fans can expect Ada Wong, Rebecca Chambers, and Wesker to be added to the game on August 30.

Chapter 25 will also be released, along with changes to parts of the game that have been changed in recent months.

What Did Behaviour Interactive Say About The Perk System?

Behaviour has said that the perk system is getting more changes.

With the release of the DBD x Resident Evil: PROJECT W Chapter, the price of nodes in the Bloodweb will go down by about 33%.

The DBD development team also said that as part of the new update coming later this month, the Haste and Endurance effects will last for 10 seconds instead of 7, and the Haste effect will increase speed by 10% instead of 7%.

Wesker is also getting some changes before he goes live, as Behaviour said earlier this week:

Let’s start with Albert Wesker, The Mastermind himself.

During this PTB, we noticed that The Mastermind’s rush had a bit too sensitive collision detection, which caused the Killer to run into things they shouldn’t have.

We’ve toned this down for the release so that you don’t run into obstacles as often by accident.

We’ve also made Virulent Bound work better with windows and pallets. During the PTB, if The Mastermind jumped at survivors while they were vaulting, they would not get hurt.

This was not planned. If they get stuck in the middle of a vault, the Mastermind will now hit them with his tentacles.”
