Bulchandani wanted to help the world, but he was unsure of how to go about it. It did not get any easier for her because she had to confront the cultural shock in America. She was inspired to try her hand at advertising, though, by a California graduate.

Initially she worked as an unpaid resource for a small firm called Anderson and Lembke before being given the opportunity to join the account planning division. She relocated to McCann’s in 1997, where she worked for roughly 24 years, steadily moving up the ranks.

After beginning in the strategy division, Bulchandni was promoted to EVP Managing Director of Global Strategy in 2012. Two years later, she was appointed president of McCannXBC, a specialized division she had assisted in establishing to handle Mastercard business.

She became the president of McCann New York in 2017 thanks to her outstanding efforts for the brand. McCann New York experienced a period of significant growth and industry recognition. Including top creative, effectiveness, and innovation awards, under her leadership. And was honored as Agency of the Year at the recent Clio, LIA, and Epica awards.
