Season 1 of The Witch From Mercury takes a risk by focusing on friendship, identity, maturity, and romance tropes. The ending of the first season, on the other hand, throws the upcoming episodes of season 2 into a potentially “grim” plotline.

The Witch from Mercury Season 2 continues the story of the girls Suletta and Miorine, who are fated to face the Gundam curse. Suletta has returned to the Asticassia School of Technology, where she is awaiting a reunion with Miorine, who is monitoring her father’s condition at the Benerit Group Headquarters.
Season 1 consists of 12 episodes, while Season 2 begins with the 13th episode. Hiroshi Kobayashi (who worked on Kiznaiver and Kimi no Iru Machi) is the second season’s director, with Ryo Ando as his co-director. Ichiro Okouchi, an emotional scriptwriter, will work on The Witch from Mercury’s script, so we know the anime will hit the right notes.

For those unversed, the sixth episode of season two, or the series’ 18th overall, will air on May 14th, 2023, and will recap what happened in the first five episodes of season two (episodes 13-17). The second season premiered on Crunchyroll and local Japanese streaming networks on April 9th.
Yume Miyamoto announced in February that she would resume her voice-acting role as Nika Nanaura after taking a break due to ill health. There doesn’t appear to be any other changes for the cast.
