The singer suffered a stroke while he was returning from Pesach in Eretz Yisroel at Airmont. He was also taken to the hospital immediately but unfortunately, he couldn’t be saved and passed away.

Michoel Schnitzler was suffering from a heart condition for a long time. Michoel had also been times hospitalized numerous times because of his problem. A rumor was also spread years ago that the singer had passed away due to his bad heart condition. At that time, he had clarified that rumor by saying “I am alive, I am not dead audience.”
