According to reports, Joe Benting went missing after leaving a bar located in Easton on his white street bike.
Joe Benting found dead after previously reported missing
Earlier this week, on Monday, October 21, Joe Benting’s mother, Laura Sheehan Benting, posted a plea on Facebook, where she sought any sort of information about her son’s whereabouts. According to the post, Benting vanished on his way home from a bar located in Easton.

She posted:
I need help, my son Joe Benting (23yo) is missing! Last seen Sunday night 10/22 @10:30pm leaving a bar in Easton on his white street bike heading home to Cedarville.”
She also added a description of what her son was supposedly wearing in the post. According to Laura, Benting, was last seen wearing a pair of joggers, a plaid hoodie, and a white Helmet with gold skulls along with an American flag face cover. She also added that he was carrying his gray backpack. However, just days after the search began, authorities discovered his dead body after he reportedly succumbed to his injuries from an accident.

Joe Benting’s mother Laura, announced her son’s cause of death in a Facebook post. Through the post, she stated that Ben died after succumbing to injuries from a motorcycle accident. According to reports, the crash took place while Benting was riding back home to Cedarville after leaving a bar in Easton. As of now, it is unknown whether the victim was riding under the influence at the time of the incident.

According to his LinkedIn bio, Benting graduated from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy back in 2022. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in International Maritime Business.

Benting’s mother was Laura Sheehan Benting. He also had a brother named Matt Benting who passed away a few years back.

Following the tragic incident, several people have come forward with tributes and messages for the deceased. A family friend wrote on a Facebook post:

Meanwhile, another friend asked people to pray for the Benting family:
