Just last year, former Spain and FC Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique announced his retirement from club football.
The Kings League
Following his retirement from his playing career, Pique announced his imminent return with an interesting project. The FC Barcelona legend revealed that he would start a league titled ‘The Kings League’ with streamer Ibai Llanos.
Just some few months back in November 2022, Pique and Llanos announced that the first edition of the Kings League will begin in January 2023. The duo further revealed that The Kings League will be a league featuring streamers and ex-players who take charge of 12 clubs. Furthermore, the 12 clubs will face off against each other in Barcelona every Sunday.
Now, that January 2023 has arrived, the pair have stayed true to their word and they have launched the league. Given below is a list of all the details of the Kings League.

The Kings League had its first match played out on January 1, 2023. All the upcoming matches of the Kings League will be played out every Sunday.

Altogether, each team is set to play 11 matches each before entering the playoffs round.
