Even though it is bad enough to take videos of people who are just going about their business and not doing anything suspicious. Edwards made it worse when he said some homophobic things.

Now, Chris Hine of the Star Tribune says, âThe league is looking into this to decide if there will be any punishment for Anthony Edwards.â
How Did Anthony Edward Apologize For His Act?
Anthony Edwards has already apologized for what he said, saying that what he did and the words he used canât be explained in any way. The Timberwolves also said in a statement that. They strongly disapproved of what he did, but they didnât really punish him or anything.
Itâs still not clear what the NBA will do about the situation. But it wonât be surprising if they fine Edwards or do something else to punish him. The league has always put an emphasis on being open to everyone. So anything that goes against that will be looked at closely.
Anthony Edwards Could Be Fined By The NBA!
The NBA could fine Edwards because of the incident, which probably broke the leagueâs rules about social media. Last year, NBA star Kevin Durant was fined $50,000 for using âoffensive and derogatory languageâ on social media after a homophobic rant. In 2011, Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls was fined the same amount for calling a fan a gay slur.

Edwardsâs comments come as he starts his third season with the Timberwolves as a shooting guard. On Monday night, the team said in a statement that they were âdisappointedâ in the shooting guard.
âWe are disappointed by what Anthony Edwards said and did on social media,â said the statement. Which was said to be from team president Tim Connelly. âThe Timberwolves want to be an organisation that everyone feels welcome in. And theyâre sorry that this has hurt so many people.â
