Who Is Balenciaga’s Stylist Lotta Volkova?
Lotta Volkova was born in Novosibirsk, Russia, when it was still part of the Soviet Union. Many of the patterns she uses in her designs come from that time. Her father, who was a naval captain, would get her gifts from all over the world when she was young. This gave her a chance to learn about other cultures. Volvoka left her home town when she was 17 to go to London’s Central Saint Martins to study art and design.
